La Cuisine Typique
You may not know what some of the typical foods we are describing are. Here is a brief summary so you can know what the not-so-common dishes are:
quiche -- An egg and cheese type pie, many times with
vegetables (pictured above).
cassoulet -- One of the oldest specialties in southern
France--a kind of a soup/casserole with white beans and generally
with pork.
escargots -- Snails.
crêpes -- Very thin pancake-type pastries.

how frequently you do that activity--souvent, parfois, plusieurs fois.
