Section One - Part E Let's Compare Let's compare the animals now. Observe. Le chat jaune et plus beau que le chat noir. Le perroquet rouge est plus beau que le perroquet bleu. Le petit chien est plus beau que l'autre. Et observe ici : Le moustique est aussi laid que l'araignée. Le chien est moins grand que l'ours. Le lézard est moins grand que l'écureuil. In order to make comparisons: To say something is "more" (taller, more fun, etc.) plus (adjective) que To say something is "less" moins (adjective) que To say something is "as (tall) as" aussi (adjective) que   Take care that since we are dealing with adjectives, we have to pay attention to the gender and number of the adjective. Au travail! Do the following homework activity and submit it to your teacher. Be sure to use complete sentences to do the work and use what you have learned in this course. Write 5 pairs of original sentences in French about the animals you have learned in this lesson. In the first sentence of each pair, use an adjective to describe the animal. In the second sentence of the pair, compare that same animal to another, saying that he is more, less, or the same as the other. Ce devoir vaut 20 Points. Now go on to Part F.
