Introduction
Bienvenus à Les Animaux! Unité Deux
The French are certainly animal lovers. Though many French have dogs, cats are also loved in France. In Unit Two, we are going to learn to talk about animals in more detail. We will also learn to make comparisons when talking about two items.
Unité Deux
Félicitations! Congratulations! You now know how to say many things that you didn't know prior to this ever taking French. If you are working consistently and practicing as much as you can outside of classtime, you should be developing some skills in French that will be of good use to you in the future. You must keep in mind that fluency in French (or any foreign language) does not happen over night. It may seem to be a very slow process to you but it is one that is achieved the more you practice and seek ways to use your new skills.
In Les Animaux you will:
- learn to talk about farm animals
- learn to talk about tropical forest animals
- compare nouns
- form the superlative in French
- use demonstrative adjectives to talk about which things you prefer
- learn additional cognate patterns
- learn about Corsica, another of France's regions
As you work, keep in mind the symbols that will help you to remember what it is you are going to be doing throughout the course. If you have forgotten those, you can look back at them to keep them in mind.
