Since they are adjectives, they each have four forms. Observe. Ce Cet Ces Cette Ces We attach "-ci" and "-là" to the end of the noun we are referring to to say "this" or "that". Practice Translate the following into French. Click on the English to see if you are correct. I like this dog. J'aime ce chien-ci. I like that dog. J'aime ce chien-là. I prefer those cats. Je préfère ces chats-là. He prefers these cats. Il préfère ces chats-ci.   Au travail!
