Perhaps they go to Bordeaux only to visit vineyards and sample the famous Bordeaux, but they also find a city which invites them to be discovered. There are many galleries and museums to be explored in Bordeaux and the fame of the wines of the area adds to the fact that the other half of the French pleasure in dining is la cuisine.
