Key ConceptLes Adjectives
We talked about describing people a long time ago. Do you remember the basic rules for descriptive words, the ones we call adjectives?

Adjectives describe nouns (people, places, things, ideas). You can use your new (and vocabulary you already knew) vocabulary to talk about yourself or other people. Adjectives can be either masculine or feminine. You must use the correct form. Here are some we learned before.

grand grande
petit petite
blond blonde
brun brune
gros grosse
intelligent intelligente

Generally there is a different form for the feminine, but you can see that some have the same form.

faible faible
mince mince
bête bête
