Introduction
Bienvenus à La Description, Unité 5!
The United Nations building in New York City is representative of a mixture of nationalities and cultures. In Unit Five, we are going to learn to talk about people with regard to their nationalities and also to describe things and people in more detail.
Unité Cinq
Félicitations! Congratulations again. You now know how to say many things that you didn't know prior to this course. Now you can talk about quite a few things in French and you should feel that you are gaining. While fluency in French does not happen over night, it does not happen at all without quite a bit of work. Are you ready?
In La Description you will:
- describe yourself and others using être and adjectives
- learn more of the past tense verbs in French
- learn to use the passé composé with être
- learn to talk about people's nationalities
- learn about the French region of Aquitaine
As you work, keep in mind the symbols that will help you to remember what it is you are going to be doing throughout the course. If you have forgotten those, you can look back at them to keep them in mind.
