Tor!
You learned some cheers in Part C. Since sports are not part of the school-planned events in
German-speaking countries, schools do not always have a mascot to even create cheers for. There are some Mannschaften with Cheerleaders, but not many. Since cheerleaders are part of our school life in the United States, here are some vocabulary words you might like to use to talk about the sport and those who participate.
ein Cheerleader |
a cheerleader |
anfeuern |
to cheer for |
springen |
to jump |
schreien |
to yell |
die Uniform |
uniform |
