Section Two: Part B More things you like to do
These expressions are just like the ones you learned in Section One. They are just additional things that you can talk about that you do. Listen to the speakers and then repeat after these as many times as you can until you can say each correctly, without having to listen first.
![]() Most young people love to talk on the phone. When you meet a new German friend, you will need to know their phone number or Telefonnummer. In this activity you are going to practice the numbers again from 0-10 by listening to these phone numbers and seeing if you can write down the phone numbers. You may listen by clicking on "zuhören" more than once to each number. Click on the sentence to see the correct answer. (Gretas Telefonnummer ist... is "Greta's phone number is...") 1. Gretas Telefonnummer ist... zuhören 2. Karstens Telefonnummer ist... zuhören 3. Johanns Telefonnummer ist... zuhören 4. Dagmars Telefonnummer ist... zuhören How did you do? Remember, if you need to, go back and practice the activities in Part A so that you can be more confident with the numbers. We will soon be learning the numbers past 10 and if you are really proficient with the numbers up to 10, you will have no problems with the higher numbers. Before you continue on to Part C, go to the discussion board and ask two questions in German to your classmates. Ask someone if they like to do at least two different activities. Remember, in German, you must flip the the subject pronoun and the verb to create a sentence. (Schwimmst du?) Respond to someone's post there. If there are no posts to respond to yet, go back in a day or so and then you will be able to respond. This assignment is worth 8 points. |
