Section One - Part A Let's
begin Unit Two by learning to talk about practical things. You will want
to know how to tell what day it is in German. Study the calendar to see
if you already know any of the words. Note that the German calendar begins
with Monday since it is the first day of the week. You will also notice two different words for Saturday. “Sonnabend ” is used more in northern Germany.
