Watch PresentationDie Zahlen
Perhaps you already know the numbers from 0 to 10 in German. Let's see. Click to listen and see the numbers in German.

Did you already know most of those? Many students have taken advantage of programs that teach some very basic things in German and therefore already know some things like this. Do not worry if you don't. Now is your chance to learn them. Section two is going to have lots of practice activities to really drill those numbers. If you skip them, you will lose the benefit of really learning the numbers. If you know the numbers from 0 to 10 and can repeat them in order, out of order and say phone numbers well in German without the practice, it is still recommended that you do these many practice activities.

Writing Activity for PracticeMore practice

Do you like math? Let's try to do some simple math problems to practice our numbers. In order to do this, you will need to know that in German we say "plus" for plus, "minus" for minus, and "ist" is what we will use to say "equals". Click on each one when you have completed the problem to see if you were correct.

2 + 2 = 4
3 + 7 = 10
5 + 3 = 8
7 - 2 = 5

RepeatSpeaking assignment
