Do you remember why we do not change the verbs danser, nager, regarder, étudier and manger? Think about what we want to say. We want to say "I like to dance." That form of the verb (to dance, to swim, to watch, to study, to eat) is the infinitive form and in French will end in -er, -ir or -re. There are a few other verbs that work this way also.
Using these verbs as the first verb, you can now say that you want, can, must or would like to do the activities that you want to talk about. Try it out here. Click on each question to see the correct response.
Let's get back to talking about your city or town. If you do not recall the presentation which talked about cities and country, go back to section 1, part A to view that again. Au Travail Think about your own town and then answer the questions according to what is true of your town.
