Recycle InformationLet's review the items you will need when talking about what you do at school. Of course you have books there. In many French-speaking countries, the books are not provided by the school--those are items the parents and families must purchase. In France, this is changing some, with some schools adopting the system we currently have with regard to textbooks (that they rent them instead of purchase). In many schools, however, the parents still have to purchase the books for their students.

Most schools also have a requirement that their students wear uniforms. Parents also have the responsibility to purchase these for their students.

But let's see what other items you will have to have when you go to school....

Les choses pour l'école
pen paper
pencil
