Introduction
Bienvenue à L'école et La routine! Unité Dix
These two foreign exchange students from France are taking a break from their school activities to greet us. Do you have foreign exchange students in your school? Students from many other countries in the world like to come to the United States to improve their English and to see how we live here. They gain experiences during their school year here that accompany them during their entire lifetimes. In Unit Ten, we are going to talk about your school life and your daily routine.
Unité Dix
Félititations encore! Congratulations again! You have now almost finished the course. It is a wonderful thing to learn another language and learn about another culture. It opens your eyes so much and it is important that you learn about the world that you are living in and part of. You must keep in mind that fluency in French (or any foreign language) does not happen over night. It may seem to be a very slow process to you but it is one that is achieved the more you practice and seek ways to use your new skills.
In L'école et La routine you will:
- talk about schools and school activities in the French speaking world
- learn to talk about your school day in more detail
- learn to talk about your house
- learn to talk about chores and responsibilities you have at home
- learn to talk about your plans
- review verb structures we have had in this year of French
- learn additional cognate patterns
As you work, keep in mind the symbols that will help you to remember what it is you are going to be doing throughout the course. If you have forgotten those, you can look back at them to keep them in mind.
