Task #1

Open 3.05 Short Story. Write a short story with an interesting plot and well-developed characters. Now, identify a problem or conflict that your character will need to resolve. Then, further develop the plot in your story and choose a point of view to suit it.

Before submitting your narrative to the dropbox, send your short story to the 3.05 Peer Editing Discussion so that your classmates may peer edit. Then, open 3.05 Peer Editing. Choose one of your peer's short story, read it two or three times, and complete 3.05 Peer Editing.

Once you have provided constructive criticism for your classmate, post it to the 3.05 Peer Editing Discussion so you and your peers can make the appropriate changes to the narrative.

After you have finalized your narrative, submit it to the 3.05 Short Story Dropbox.

You will receive two grades, one for your Peer Editing discussion comments and one for your revised short story.

A man is found dead on a deserted island wearing a blue Nike backpack. The rescuers investigate the cause of death. They look inside the pack and find what killed him. What was inside the pack that killed the man?
