Diktat
By now, you should be quite familiar with German spelling. In general, it is quite regular (certainly more so than English!). Listen to the following text and write it in your notebook. With a dictation it is always a good idea to listen to the entire passage without stopping it, so you know the general idea. Then go back and begin writing it phrase by phrase. You may pause or repeat the recording whenever you wish. When you are finished, click on "Antwort" and compare your written version with the script that appears.
Tag Martin. Ich habe das Spiel gegen Fussballklub Murnau gesehen. Ich gratuliere. Eure Mannschaft hat prima gespielt. Als Angreifer warst du aber besonders schnell, und die ganze Abwehr war fantastisch. Auch war Tobias sehr gut im Tor. Und ihr habt weder eine rote noch eine gelbe Karte bekommen. Unglaublich! Ich wünsche euch auch nächsten Samstag viel Glück.
Wiederholung
We are winding down the unit and soon you will be ready for the Unit Exam. In order to prepare, give the German for these sentences. Click on the item to see a correct translation, and be sure to go back and review any areas that you have problems with. As with all of these self-check activities, if you reload the page, you will be able to try them again if you didn't do well.
Once you feel that you have practiced these concepts sufficiently and have reviewed the vocabulary and verb chart, you are ready to take the
Section 3 Quiz and then the Unit 3 Exam. Teil D contains additional resources.
