Diskutieren wir Dialog While German schools do not have competitive sport teams as we know them in the U.S., many students are involved in sports clubs and teams after school, on weekends and during the summer. Although soccer is the most popular, young people are also involved in swimming, handball, volleyball and tennis, among others. Vokabeln
Before eating, German speakers say "Guten Appetit"--it's a way of saying " Enjoy your meal." The waiter in a restaurant will also usually say it after he has brought your food to the table. You will want to remember this so that you can say it prior to eating when you are in a German speaking country. Before they "toast" (before drinking a beverage), German speakers say "Prost" or "Zum Wohl"! This is another expression you will want to know.
