Section Three - Part A Charlottenburg Schloss (palace) was constructed by the architect Arnold Nering commissioned by Sophie Charlotte, the wife of Friedrich III, Elector of Brandenburg. After Friedrich's coronation in 1701 as King Friedrich I of Prussia and Charlotte his Queen, the palace, which was initially conceived as a Sommerhaus. It was expanded by the architect Eosander von Göthe into a magnificent building Inside the Charlottenburg Palace is the Bernsteinzimmer (amber room), a room with its wall panels completely covered in exquisite amber mosaic, and was described as "the eighth wonder of the world." It was designed by the architect and builder Andreas Schlüter. Charlottenburg Palace has been used to house the President, while Bellevue Palace was being renovated. It is currently a museum of art and history.

You will write at least six sentences about each room that you describe and you need to include a picture--this does not have to be a picture of your actual home but it should be representative of your written description.
