Lesson 3.01: Adding Hyperlinks to Web Pages

Follow the directions below to complete this task.

1. Open KompoZer and choose a blank document. Type the following sentence: "W3Schools is a website that teaches students how to use HTML".

2. Select the text "W3Schools" and click on the Link icon.

3. Using your favorite search engine, search for the W3Schools website. Copy and paste the URL into the Link dialog box.

4. Save the file as "hyperlinks.htm" in the samples folder. Browse the page and check to be certain that the link works.

When you finish the task, submit the file "hyperlinks.htm" to 3.01 Adding Hyperlinks to Web Pages Dropbox.
