¿Es o está? In some of the sentences we use a form of "estar" and in some of them, we use "ser". Do you remember why? We will review this more later...but for now, remember that:
Estar tells how and where you are.
Ser tells what you are like, where you are from, what your profession is, etc.

adjectives follow the noun in Spanish. However, some very common adjectives
precede it. Notice that for the most part, these are adjectives of quantity.
un / una
el / la / los / las
muchos / pocos / tres / diez
A few adjectives have irregular forms in front of masculine singular nouns.
primero
primer
tercero
tercer
uno
un
bueno
buen
malo
mal
A few adjectives
can be placed before or after the noun, but the location of the adjective changes the meaning.
un gran hombre - a great man / un hombre grande -
a large man
Grande becomes "gran" when it precedes a noun.
un pobre hombre- a poor man (unfortunate) / un hombre pobre- a poor man (with no money)
una vieja escuela- a former school (it was a school,
but is no longer) / una escuela vieja- a very old
school
una cierta impresión- a certain type of impression /
una impresión cierta- an assured impression
