Section One - Part A

¡Hola! Me llamo Lidia Sánchez y soy de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Soy estudiante en un colegio privado. Aunque vivo muy lejos de ti, probablemente somos muy similares...a ver...me gusta escuchar música, mirar la televisión, ver películas, navegar en el internet, hablar por teléfono....¿qué más? Me gusta pasear con mis amigos, salir con mis amigos a comer o a ir a algún museo, cosas así. Y claro, me encanta ir de compras.

¿Y cuáles son las cosas que me gusta estudiar? Bueno, me gusta estudiar el inglés. Saber y hablar otro idioma es muy importante en mi país. Si una persona puede hablar otro idioma, especialmente el inglés, es posible tener un muy buen trabajo en el futuro. Es difícil el inglés, pero es algo que me gusta mucho aprender. También me gusta estudiar en otras clases. Pero no tanto como en la clase de inglés. Allí hablamos mucho y tenemos que escuchar mucho también.

Me gusta viajar con mi familia en el verano. Viajamos a Chile o a otra región de Argentina, como Iguazú o Bariloche. Mi país tiene mucho que ofrecer al turista. Un día me gustaría ir a Europa y conocer España y otros países europeos. Me gusta mucho ver la arquitectura muy diferente y aprender a apreciar a la gente que es diferente.

Pero, bueno, quiero saber algo de ti. Háblame de ti. ¿Cómo eres? ¿Qué te gusta? ¿Qué estudias?

Adjectives agree in number and gender with the noun they modify.

Example: el papel negro / los papeles negros; la pluma negra / las plumas negras

The plural form of the adjective is formed by adding a final -s in most cases.

Example: negro / negros

If the masculine form of the adjective ends in -o, the feminine form of the adjective is formed by changing the final -o to -a.

Example: negro / negra

Some adjectives have no feminine form that is different than the masculine form.

Example: inteligente / inteligente
