Where does he live now?		In a small village near Freiburg.
Why did he want to leave Berlin?		To get away from the hectic of a big city.
What is the "Umweltkarte"?		A ticket for public transportation
What is Schauinsland?		A mountain.
What does he do there?		Go walking.
What was different for him this winter?		He got to go skiing.

Is the Black Forest being damaged by pollution?		Yes, but not as badly as some other places.
Why don't the countries of Eastern Europe do more about industrial air pollution?		They don't have the money.
What two other problems does the interviewer want to discuss with him?		Automobiles and recycling.
What does he encourage everyone to do, especially if there's no public transportation?		Walk or use car-pools.
What does he say are getting way too big?		The piles of garbage / garbage dumps.
Why doesn't he take part in the demonstrations?		He thinks he's too old.
What have he and his neighbors done?		Formed a car-pool to take things to recycling.

Kultureller Leckerbissen - Umweltsymbole

	Der "Blaue Engel" ist ein deutsches Symbol und bedeutet, dass das Produkt umweltfreundlich ist. Alle kennen diesen Namen, denn es gibt einen sehr bekannten alten Film mit dem Title "Der Blaue Engel".
	Die "Euro-Blume" ist ein etwas neueres europäisches Symbol für umweltfreundliche Produkte.
	Das RAL Gütezeichen Kompost ist ziemlich alt und zeigt, dass das Produkt die Erde nicht beschädigt.
	Verpackungsmaterialien mit dem "Grünen Punkt" dürfen in die gelbe Tonne geworfen werden.
