Section Three - Part B Le Projet In this Unit, your project is going to be another personal project. You will prepare an essay/photo essay talking about your typical day. You will talk about your school day and the way it is organized, what times you go to classes and in what order, what you do in each course, what items you need, what part of the school you go for to each course. You may include pictures in your essay, but it is not a requirement. You will produce an essay of about 200 words. This project is to be written in French. an essay of about 200 words talking about your school day how your day is organized and what classes you go to, in what order what you do in those courses what part of the school the course is located in what you need in each course what you do after school as part of your home responsibilities where you do these activities (what part of house?) The project will have four deadlines: Deadline 1: Idea (5 points) Deadline 2: Outline (5 points) Deadline 3: Rough draft (5 points) Deadline 4: Final project: (25 points) The third deadline is due now. This assignment is worth 5 points. Ecrivons As we begin to wind down the unit, let's see how we are doing. Qu'est-ce que tu utilises en classe de maths? J'utilise un crayon, un livre et un papier. Oh, et ma calculatrice. 7. Comment est-ce que tu vas à l'école? Je vais en voiture. 8. Est-ce que tu vas en France à pied? Non, je ne vais pas à la France à pied. Je vais en avion. 9. Quelle classe est ta sixième? Ma sixième classe est....(espagnol, anglais, sciences, etc.) 10. Quelles classes sont les classes de langues? L'espagnol, l'anglais, le français, et l'allemand sont les classes de langues. 11. Qu'est-ce que tu vas faire demain? Je vais étudier et je vais à l'école. 12. Vas-tu étudier samedi? Non. Je vais au cinéma avec des copains. 13. Qu'est-ce que tu apprends dans la classe d'éducation physique? J'apprends à jouer aux sports.   D'autres mots apparentés We have been learning about words that are known as cognates. These are words that look alike in two languages and share the same meaning. The cognates we are going to learn in this unit end in -ic in English. Generally, these words just end in -ique in French.
