Lesson 4.01: Evaluating Websites

Now that you have learned the basic criteria that should be used to evaluate a website, it is time to practice evaluating some websites on your own.

  1. Select one example each of good and bad design from a list of your favorite websites.
  2. Use this website Evaluation Rubric to evaluate the sites.
  3. Remember to evaluate both of the websites you have chosen based on each criterion with ratings of:
    • 0 points = poor
    • 1 point = fair
    • 2 points = good
  4. Find the total points for both the "good" website and the "bad" website that you have selected.

You will be using this information in the Task section of this lesson.
