Complete 3.02 Dumb Laws Discussion

As values and norms change over time, laws should too. However, some states and local law enforcement officials forget to eliminate laws that are now obsolete. For example, the state of Georgia has a law that states "Persons under the age of 16 may not play pinball after 11:00 PM."

1) Go to the website: Dumb Laws.

2) Pick two laws that you think is particularly outdated.

3) Go to 3.02 Dumb Laws Discussion Board and post the two laws you chose (be sure to include the state they are from) and a five to seven sentence explanation of why you think the laws were created and why you think they are now outdated.

4) After you write your post, click on some of your classmates' posts and view the laws they found. Comment on at least two of your classmates posts. Your comment can address the law he or she chose or contribute to their explanation of why the law was created.
