Task #1

In this task, you will demonstrate what you have learned about flexibility by creating your own flexibility plan. You have been building on your knowledge throughout the course.

Use your knowledge to create a presentation demonstrating your ability to design your own flexibility plan.

Your presentation must include the following information:

  1. List at least 5 activities that you will complete during the warm-up section of your workout routine.
    1. Include the name of the activity/exercise.
    2. Include the duration of each exercise.
    3. Include the rest periods if appropriate.
    4. Include if your activity involves a partner or not.
  2. List at least 5 activities that you will complete during the cooldown section of your workout routine.
    1. Include the name of the activity/exercise.
    2. Include the duration of each exercise.
    3. Include the rest periods if appropriate.
    4. Include if your activity involves a partner or not.
  3. Explain how your flexibility workout will meet the FITT principal.
  4. Include pictures or videos of you performing the correct techniques for:
    1. Warm-up exercises/stretches
    2. Cooldown exercises/stretches
  5. Describe what days of the week you will complete this plan.
  6. Reflect on Your SMART Goals (7.05 Goal Setting lesson). How will your personal flexibility plan help you meet your goals?
