Task #3
You will complete this workout two times.
Complete the following multi-step workout.
- Make sure that your total workout time is 45 minutes. This includes 5 minutes of warm-up activities, and 35 minutes of jogging or similar cardio activity, followed by 5 minutes of a cooldown activity. Use a heart rate monitor to measure your heart rate during the activity.
- You can also use an app on your cell phone. The Pedometer - Step Counter is a free app provided for both Apple and Android phones.
- If the device or the app are not options, then talk to your teacher about alternatives.
- Warm-up: Warm-up for 5 minutes.
- Jogging (or a similar cardio activity): Jogging continuously for 35 minutes.
- Cooldown: Complete 5 minutes of slow walking and standing stretches.
You will complete this workout two times.
Download and complete 3.04 Activity Log.
You will record the following information:
- What warm-up and cooldown activity did you choose?
- What cardio activity did you choose?
- What was your heart rate and were you in your heart rate zone?
- What pedometer, accelerometer, or heart rate monitor device did you use?
- What was your Perceived Exertion Level using the BORG scale?
You will also answer some questions concerning your feelings about your workouts.
Submit your completed work to the 3.04 Activity Log Dropbox.
