Task #1

In this lesson, we learned about static, ballistic, dynamic, and PNF stretches. Go to the 2.02 Stretching Discussion and answer the following questions:

  • Explain the importance of stretching as part of your workout routine. Think about why you personally need to stretch.
  • Which stretches do you prefer? Why?
  • Post a picture of one of your preferred stretches. It can be a picture of you doing the stretch or a picture of the stretch from the lesson.

Read through your classmates' posts. Reply to one or two classmates, especially if they have a reason for stretching that you think is interesting or if they mention a stretch you think would be beneficial for you.

Then, download and complete 2.02 Stretching Discussion Summary.
