Uncovering German History

Be aware of the next two steps to the research project:

Step #3 - due at the end of Lesson 5.13:
Use your creativity to build a visual representation of some of the information that you found on your topic. Suggestions include: a PowerPoint presentation, a slideshow of images with captions, a digital collage, a short video, a poster, a short animation.

Step #4 - due at the end of Lesson 5.14:
Use the outline you created in Lesson 5.09 to write a 3-paragraph research paper. The final paper should be typed in a separate document and include the following information:

  • Heading: Name, date, topic, and creative title
  • Paragraph #1: Introduction with basic background information on your topic
  • Paragraph #2: Detailed information on the topic with specific dates and historical figures
  • Paragraph #3: Conclusion that summarizes why this particular event is important to Germany's history and the ways (if any) it impacted world history
  • Works Cited: Alphabetical list of all sources you used to write the paper
