While the American Dream may have started with the Declaration of Independence, it certainly did not end there. It is has grown throughout our history and can be seen in art, literature, and movies to this day. Throughout this course, we will see how the American Dream has been present in our society.

In what ways have you seen the idea of the American Dream present in these movies or books? In a well-written paragraph of at least 6-8 sentences, discuss how you have seen the American Dream portrayed in a specific work.
