Task
Emily Dickinson's poems are filled with visual imagery.
- Download Emily Dickinson Poetry Packet to select a poem that you would like to illustrate (make sure it is one you haven't reviewed in class).
- Watch the example below before you begin:
Create your own comic or visual representation using PowerPoint. For the Dickinson poem you choose, you will need to record your own voice reciting it.
You must create one image for each stanza of the poem you choose. You may elect to create a line by line interpretation or just the stanza by stanza interpretation.
After you add each image, make sure you cite the source. The ACCESS Adding Images Module will help with this Task.
Be sure to consult the grading rubric for additional information.
When you have completed your PowerPoint presentation, submit it to 6.02 Dickinson's Poetry as Art.
