In some of your ACCESS classes, your teacher may require you to add an image in order for your assignment to be complete.

Many images are protected by copyright laws. While you can use many images and media in classwork under Fair Use, ACCESS holds its students to a high standard and asks that students be cautious of and respect copyright laws.  In order to be confident of the availability of an image, always check the license or usage rights.

ACCESS encourages students to use images that are not restricted by copyright. These include public domain images and instances where the owners have given permission for use as long as they are cited (given credit). At minimum, when using an image, provide

  • image title
  • image creator (if known)
  • the URL where you found the image
