5.07 High Interest Loan PSA

A public service announcement (PSA) is an advertisement that is designed to educate people about important issues. You have probably seen or heard a few PSAs in your lifetime, and some of the more common PSA slogans include "Friends don't let friends drive drunk," "A mind is a terrible thing to waste," and "Only you can prevent forest fires."

For this Task, you will be creating a PSA that will will inform your peers about high interest loans. Your PSA may be a created using your choice of word processing or presentation software (such as PowerPoint).

Use the following guidelines when designing your PSA:

  • Create a slogan that is 15 words or less that highlights one aspect of credit, debt, and/or borrowing.
  • Include a graphic or picture that exemplifies your slogan.
  • Consult the Adding Images tutorial if you need help locating images or with citations.
  • Write a paragraph that describes the meaning of the slogan in greater detail.
  • Write a statement that explains the slogan's importance to a person's financial education.
  • Maker sure that the layout of your PSA is graphically appealing and organized well.
  • Be sure to consult the grading rubric for more details.

When you have reviewed your work and are satisfied it meets all the requirements on the rubric, submit it to the 5.07 High Interest Loan PSA Dropbox.
