 Depuis
Tu peux utiliser "depuis" pour parler du passé, mais au présent. Regarde ces phrases comme exemples:
Nous habitons à Lille depuis mai.
Nous étudions le français depuis trois ans.
Depuis can be used to talk about what has been going on since or for a certain length of time. You simply use the verb in the present tense and connect the length of time with depuis.
Likewise you can ask a question with depuis using:
depuis quand?
depuis combien de temps?
Depuis quand est-ce que tu vas à cette école?
Depuis combien de temps est-ce que tu parles français?
