AVE

Unidad 2: La Transportación

The AVE, the high speed train in Spain, travels at speeds of 300 kilometers per hour. It was in 1981 that the goal was made in Spain to develop a high speed train system for the country. The realization of the dream would take twelve years and cost one hundred thousand million pesetas. The AVE (Alta Velocidad Española) is now the pride of Spain since it connects Spain with the rest of Europe and also provides the fastest ground transportation in all of Europe.

In Unidad Dos, you will review:

  1. Describing things and people
  2. Talking about things that happened in the past

You will be introduced to:

  1. Talking about how frequently or how you do things
  2. Talking about where things are
  3. Making commands
  4. Talking about transportation and getting from one place to another and how
  5. New cultural and historical issues in the Spanish speaking world

Doing the exercises
You should have a notebook especially for this class to take notes and do your written exercises. Follow this sequence:

  1. Write down the exercise as you see it.
