Gymnasium

Das Alte Gymnasium Oldenburg ("AGO") is the oldest school in the city of Oldenburg. It began in 1573 as a school for Latin. To this day, the school maintains this tradition as it teaches its approximately 750 students Latin as their first foreign language. Das AGO is one of dozens of schools, whose roots stem back hundreds of years. The oldest was first established in 748 in the city of Fulda.

Students here at the AGO prepare themselves to study at a university after they graduate. Getting ready for your future takes dedication and hard work regardless of where you are in school.
