Cette
chapelle gothique à Paris date de 1246. C'est le roi Saint Louis
qui l'a faite construire comme sanctuaire (shrine) pour la couronne d'épines
du Christ. Les vitraux sont magnifiques vus de l'intérieur quand
le soleil passe à travers.

Projet
For the project in Unit 10, you are going to plan a trip to a French speaking
country. You may choose whatever country you like as long as it is approved
by your teacher. You will write a 200 word essay in French that you have
learned in this course talking about what you will do while you are there
and about getting there. You will need to include the following in your
project:
- Why you are interested in visiting that country?
- When you are going to go?
- What you will pack in your suitcase?
- What you will do while you are there?
- What these things will cost? What money will you use while there?
- You will include a section about the specifics about the actual trip--going
to the airport, waiting for the flight, etc.
You will need to include pictures of the items you find in your essay.
There are four deadlines for the project:
- Deadline 1: Country idea: 5 points
- Deadline 2: Outline and brainstorming: 5 points
- Deadline 3: Rough draft: 5 points
- Deadline 4: Final project: 25 points
