Un Immeuble Résidentiel
Apartamentos
As is true in the United States, in the larger cities in the French-speaking world, many people live in "un immeuble résidentiel"-- an apartment building instead of in single family homes. Living in apartments tends to cost less than an individual family buying their own home. These apartments, however, can also be purchased instead of rented in most countries.

Key ConceptLes Pronoms
Je te vois. Il nous parle. Do you remember these little words? We use these pronouns instead of renaming nouns when we speak.

Let's review the use of pronouns with two verbs in French.

Est-ce que tu vas acheter le livre?

Oui, je vais l'acheter.

Est-ce que tu veux lire le livre?

Oui, je veux le lire.

When there are two verbs, the object pronoun goes between the two verbs in French as you see in these examples.
