Section Three - Part A

La représentation diplomatique d'un pays s'appelle une embassade. Normalement, les embassades sont dans la capitale d'un pays. Parfois, on établie l'embassade dans une maison ancienne du quartier des embassades, mais parfois, on construit un nouveau bâtiment. Le style reflète souvent la "personnalité" du pays. Voici trois Embassades de France - au Qatar, en Afrique du Sud et en Grèce.

Bienvenus à la Section Trois!
You are doing so well! You should be remembering to repeat French as much as you can when you hear French in the course and it is also imperative that you spend time outside of class studying your French.

Before we get going very far, see how well you're doing on this Unit's vocabulary. The following flash card activities will help you learn your vocabulary. See if you know what each word or phrase means. Click on "Play" to hear the words. Go on to a new word by click on "Next" in the controls at the bottom.

  • Five rooms
  • Six sentences about each room
  • Picture that matches written description
  • Talk about the furniture in each room and describe it as you are able.
  • Talk about what you do in these rooms of your home.
