Create your own résumé, using the following sections. (Look at the sample résumé you labeled.) Yes, there are templates in certain software programs, but the preset formatting can create problems for those who are not experts in the specific software.

Heading—Only use an email if it is appropriate for business

Education—Only high school, not junior high or elementary

Work Experience—If not "official" work experience, perhaps babysitting or lawn mowing job

References—Teachers, employers, and NOT friends or relatives
After keying your résumé, post to the 4.03 Discussion: Résumé Peer Edit so that classmates can check your work.
Evaluate two of your classmates’ résumés using this résumé evaluation form. Choose someone who does not have any reviews first. Then, look at the comments on your own résumé. Determine if any changes need to be made.
Remember, not everyone is in class at the same time, so it may take a day or two to get feedback. Keep checking back. Also, remember to be nice or neutral in your feedback. You are all here to help one another improve your résumés.
Using feedback from classmates, revise your résumé and submit to your instructor via the 4.03 My Résumé Dropbox. You will be assessed based on the 4.03 My Résumé Dropbox scoring rubric.
