Others, including some men, believed women deserved the opportunity to vote and crusaded mightily for it. Jim Crow laws were laws that mandated segregation of the races. These laws first emerged in the 1870s and lasted until the 1960s. Click on the links below to examine some of the specific forms of segregation that existed during the period. Describe 3 of the limits that you find most disturbing. Explain your choices using 2-3 sentences for each limit. 2) In what ways do you see evidence of discrimination today? Respond to the thoughts of one classmate's post in 2.04 Jim Crow Discussion.
