Lesson 7.03 Victory in Europe

Use the Read Write Think Timeline tool to create a World War II timeline:

1) Enter your name and title the project 7.03 War in Europe Timeline.

2) Create an illustrative timeline showing 8 major events in American involvement leading up to, during, and following World War II on the European Front. For each event:

• Click/tap the timeline.
• Enter the Date of the event under "Label."
• Enter the name of the event under "Short Description."
• Enter a description of the event in complete sentences under "Full Description."

4) Include an image (photo) on at least two events on your timeline.

5) When you are finished creating your timeline, click "Finish" in the bottom right corner.

6) Click "Save Final," and download it to your computer.

7) Submit your final timeline to 7.03 War in Europe Timeline Dropbox.

Complete 7.03 European Map. Read 7.03 European Map Directions for directions. Submit your completed map to 7.03 European Map Dropbox.

Go to 7.03 FDR Quote Discussion and post a one-paragraph reflection on the following quote from Franklin Delano Roosevelt:

"We look forward to a world founded upon four essential freedoms. The first is freedom of speech...The second is freedom of every person to worship God in his own way...the third is freedom from want...The fourth is freedom from fear."

After you post your reflection, respond to at least two classmates' posts.
