Make a presentation to show your understanding of the 4 states of matter. Use the requirements listed on the next tab and the checklist on the third tab to ensure your project meets expectations.

You can design this in any presentation or word processing software, such as Microsoft Word, Publisher, or Powerpoint; Pages or Keynote for Mac; Prezi; etc.

In addition to being listed on the next tabs, the instructions, requirements, and checklist are listed on 1.07 States of Matter Presentation. Submit your completed work to the 1.07 States of Matter Presentation Dropbox.

For this assignment, you are required to cite your sources using MLA: MLA Citations - Instructions. You will also need to find and cite images in this project. Use the link MLA Image - Instructions to learn where to find images, how to add images to your project, and how to correctly cite images in MLA.

Requirements

Your presentation should include:

  1. A title page

  2. A page on solids
    1. A description of a solid, its structure, and how particle movement and energy affect this state.
    2. A minimum of 5 different pictures of solids. Each picture should be clearly labeled and include a citation for the image.

  3. A page on liquids
    1. A description of a liquid, its structure, and how particle movement and energy affect this state.
    2. A minimum of 5 different pictures of liquids. Each picture should be clearly labeled and include a citation for the image.

  4. A page on gases
    1. A description of a gas, its structure, and how particle movement and energy affect this state.
    2. A minimum of 5 different pictures of gases. Each picture should be clearly labeled and include a citation for the image.

  5. A page on plasma
    1. A description of plasma, its structure, and how particle movement and energy affect this state.
    2. A minimum of 5 different pictures of plasma. Each picture should be clearly labeled and include a citation for the image.

  6. A Works Cited page listing where you located your information. A link to MLA citation instructions is included on the "Submission" tab above.
