Task #1
Go to the Quizzes area and complete the 2.04 Cooldown Exercise. You may use your notes as needed.
Task #2
You will complete this workout two times.
Complete the following multi-part workout.
- Make sure that your total workout time is 45 minutes. This includes 10 minutes of warm-up activity slow jogging followed by 10 minutes of normal pace jogging. Then, complete 15 minutes of continuous jump rope followed by 10 minutes of cooldown exercise.
- Warm-up activity: 10 minutes
- Normal Pace Jog: 10 minutes
- Jump rope: Jump rope continuously for 15 minutes. You may choose to jump over a rope on the ground or you may choose any style of single rope jumping for this activity. Tips:
- Keep your elbows in when turning the rope
- Turn with your wrists (not your arms)
- Jump only high enough to clear the rope
- Cooldown: Complete 10 minutes of stretching using your choice of static stretching exercises that we have been practicing from Unit 1.
You will complete this workout two times.
Download and complete 2.04 Activity Log.
You will record the following information:
- What time did you exercise?
- How far did you walk and/or jog?
- What was your heart rate and were you in your heart rate zone?
- What was your heart rate after cooldown?
- How did you feel after the workout?
- What stretching exercises did you choose?
You will also answer some questions concerning your feelings about your workouts.
Submit your completed work to the 2.04 Activity Log Dropbox.
