Introduction

 You receive a call to a new crime scene involving a homicide. This morning a hiker found a body in a wooded area. As the lead detective, you are familiar with the protocol of processing a crime scene, but it has been a while since you have worked with a homicide.

Let's examine the scene to see exactly what we will be working with. In this lesson, we will also review the correct way to process a crime scene and ensure the first responder and crime scene team follow proper procedure.
