Task

One of the main thoughts of Romanticism is that children are innocent.  Some of the writings about children even played over into our day where children have rights and are not worked like adults.  Think for a moment about childhood.  What do you remember most vividly about your own childhood? What would make a childhood happy? Or sad? What do you think about how our society values children today? Have we gone too far the other way—letting children now sue their parents and parents believing that children are always right?

Write a well-written paragraph (5 – 7 sentences) and post your response under the 7.02 Childhood Discussion. Be sure to respond to at least two other classmates’ posts.

Go to the Quizzes area and take the 7.02 The Romantic Period Quiz.
