Summary and Tasks
After your teacher has reviewed your plan for the short story, you may begin to write your children's short story.
- You are to write a children's short story that features a protagonist and an antagonist.
- The story should have a clear, definable conflict, climax and resolution.
- Lastly, the characters in your story should engage in dialogue that is punctuated properly and adds to the story.
- Your short story should be at least 400 words in length, but some may be much longer to completely develop the story.
When you are finished writing your story, submit it to the 3.01 Children's Short Story Dropbox.
This dropbox assignment is worth 40 points:
- 10 points for the inclusion of a protagonist and antagonist
- 10 points for the development of plot with a clear conflict, climax and resolution
- 10 pointsfor the inclusion of properly punctuated dialogue
- 10 points for meeting the minimum length requirement and proper use of grammar and punctuation
