How to take a screenshot

Task #1

  1. You will create your ACPS account.
  2. If you already have an account established, use your existing account information (username and password or Clever login, whichever your school uses) to login.
  3. Take a screenshot of your welcome page and save it to your computer.
  4. Download 4.01 Create Account and paste the image of your welcome screen onto the document.
  5. Submit the screenshot to the 4.01 Create Account Dropbox.

How to create an account with ACPS (Alabama Career Planning System):

New users will be required to set up an account.

  1. Open ACPS.
  2. Choose "Create an Account"
  3. Choose I am "a junior high or high school student" from the drop down menu.
  4. Step 1 of 4
    1. Current grade level: choose your current grades
    2. High School Graduation Year: choose the year you will graduate
    3. Navigator Activation Code (N-Code): this is available from an official at your school, usually the counselor
    4. State ID: the same school official that gives you the Navigator Activation Code will give you this
  5. Step 2 of 4
    1. Fill out all the information:
      1. First and last name
      2. Zip code
      3. Birth date
      4. Gender
      5. Email address
  6. Step 3 of 4.
    1. Choose and set the following:
      1. Username
      2. Password
      3. Security question and answer
  7. Step 4 of 4
  8. Answer the questions.
  9. Click on Sign Me Up
  10. Take a screenshot of the welcome screen.
  11. Download 4.01 Create Account and paste the image of your welcome screen onto the document.
  12. Submit your completed work to the 4.01 Create Account Dropbox.
