2.03 Blueprints and Drawings: Applying

Download, complete and submit 2.03 Using Proportions.

Architects make scale drawing of rooms and buildings called blueprints. You are going to draw a scale blueprint of a house.

Choose your own scale measurement for drawing your blueprint and show the scale on the blueprint. (An example would be ¼" = 1' or ½" = 1'.)

Your blueprints must contain the following:

rooms drawn to scale
labeled rooms
hallways between the rooms
a bedroom
a kitchen
a living room
a bathroom
one "other" room of your choice (theater room, karate room, music room, art room, etc.)
additional rooms (optional)

Include, at a minimum, the following components of the house using traditional graphic icons placed in a logical position and in the correct room.
