Task
Remember the pretend business you described in the last lesson? For the 4.02 Business Letter task, compose a business letter to prospective customers introducing this new business.
- You may use a business letter template from whatever word processing software is available to you. However, be sure to check that the template is in the correct format as to spacing, layout, etc.
- Your letter should have at least three paragraphs:
- first, introduce yourself and your business;
- second, provide details such as hours of operation, location, services you provide, etc.; and
- third, ask the customer to visit your business and/or use your service.
- For full credit, you must create a macro for your signature line, and all nine essential parts of the letter must be included.
Look at the 4.02 Business Letter Rubric to see how your assignment will be graded; and also look at this sample business letter to make sure the parts of the letter and spacing are correct.
For bonus points, you may design a letterhead for your business, but remember to keep it above the 2" top margin.
Be sure to spell check and proofread, as points will be deducted for spelling and grammatical errors.
Submit your completed work to the 4.02 Business Letter Dropbox.
